175th Anniversary Book Launch and War Memorial Re-dedication

Carnoustie Golf Club held the  175th Anniversary Book launch and War Memorial Re-Dedication Ceremony in the newly-refurbished Clubhouse on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Around 150 people attended these events and members who collected their books were able to have them signed by the book’s author, Donald Ford, and Carnoustie Golf Club’s overseas historian David Mackesey.

The Rev. Dougal Edwards conducted an excellent service outside the Club, with contributions from a bugler playing the Last Post, and a piper playing Flowers O’ the Forest. The Carnoustie branch of the Royal British Legion provided a Colour Party.
